I recently was rear ended by an uninsured driver. I have since completed all my MIBI and injuries board applications.
I have now gotten a letter asking for a breakdown of my expenses caused by the accident. I am putting down physio, doctor, prescriptions and mileage. I clocked up massive mileage driving to and from physio and doctors appointments. How much per mile can I claim for?

    Thanks

Where did you get the figure 1 euro per mile. Just incase theres a follow up. Is there a set figure somewhere.

A euro per mile is the norm. It's accepted by the insurance companies as being reasonable.

Reasonable sustenance is food when you have to travel far and have to buy lunch.

Maybe you should ask your own insurance company up and ask them what the rate is, along with any house rules they may have for working these things out. It should give you a straight answer and allow you to avoid a lot of confusion here.
