I joined them recently, was disappointed no Iseq (mostly due to Glanbia being a favourite share of mine) but saw it had been added so now I think Saxo Bank is the best in terms of commission, yes an inactivity fee exists if no trading done in a three month period but it is cheaper to trade than incur a fee.

Much much better than the Irish stockbrokers who could learn a lot from foreign stock brokers.

Glanbia will probably test long-term resistance at €11.25 this week, will be interesting so see if it closes above that.

The 1% Stamp Duty on Irish Shares is the only draw back, plus liquidity can be a problem with Glanbia shares when one needs to head for the exit quickly.

I got my Glanbia shares when some of my Glanbia co-op shares were converted into PLC shares 12 months ago.
I sold some Glanbia shares in the past to fund some other farm investments, but found the Irish stockbrokers were expensive and they are an easy share to sell.
Good to have a cheaper option for both buying and selling Irish shares.

Yes, but no currency commissions with the ISEQ, given you are buying in Euro. Makes it cheaper and no worry about currency fluctuations.

I am hoping to open a Euro account with Saxo bank.

Has any one withdrawn cash from Saxo, and have it paid back into their Irish
    bank account.

If so was it easily done and did the transfer take long.
