Triax TR212 not turning on

    My Triax Tr212 (bought Oct 2012) is not starting up as it should.
    It was workng perfectly even installed the firmware upgrade last april. The blue sign ON displays and there is a recurring click as it tries to kick in. Have to disconnect it at the mains then the same problem occurs only after a minute of pressing the start button a number of times it will eventually start. Did a factory reset, same problem. I've tried disconnecting cables and reconnecting. It's connected to a 8-9 yr old tv (not flatsxreen) via scart & I've a 32Gig pen drive connected for recording. TV works fine with DVD player.
    Has anyone experience the same problem or have any workaround?
