Awards - Post of the year

    liz1991 - Marathon finish

    PaulieC - Running Advice

Josh Harris - Beer mile advice

Killerz - Beer Mile video report

    Thewolf_ie - 400 reps

    pconn062 - willing on a marathon runner

Menoscemo - London Marathon Beer Report

Mod: reminder - The poll threads will be open for comments BUT I will be deleting any comments that talk down nominated posters or their performances/logs/photos. It is okay to say "I think Jessica Ennis should win the award because her victory was so convincing and she performed so well even in her weaker events". It is not okay to say, "I think Ennis should win because Farah didn't really run well and he was just lucky that the race tactics suited him". Clear? I will mod this with a hammer. Boardsies have no control over whether they are nominated or not, so if they are put in the spotlight like this they shouldn't be criticised.

Too late to nominate a late contender? Don't you just love it, when science gets in the way of a Boards discussion?

I've got to go with PConn's 'stubborn Monaghan bast**d' comment.

It was brilliantly off the cuff.

As much as I enjoyed the wolf's supposed 55 second 400m, it is not every day that a legend of the sport and a world record holder visits the corridors of A/R. Josh Harris all the way.

I actually didn't vote for myself on this award as i had nominated the two beer mile posts. No doubt Josh Harris's post is legendary stuff. As another poster pointed out it would be like Haile Gebresallassie signing up to give advice on the Novice Marathon thread,

However I had to go with Killerz Beermile video; his work really sums up the whole event (cheesy music included) and captures the atmosphere of the evening. Post of the year for me....(however I won't argue if you all vote for my London Marathon Beer report ;)).

The post I wish I hadn't made! Although Chivito550 I will have to make it "actual" during the first half of 2014.

I will give all posts a read before the cut off and vote for sure.

Wolfie, you have my vote for that phantastic phour hundred metre perphormance.

Especially coming at the end of a run, a session, a coaching stint...

What's not to love about it!!!!
