Awards - Poster of the year

Unusually high number of nominations for this one.

Mod: reminder - The poll threads will be open for comments BUT I will be deleting any comments that talk down nominated posters or their performances/logs/photos. It is okay to say "I think Jessica Ennis should win the award because her victory was so convincing and she performed so well even in her weaker events". It is not okay to say, "I think Ennis should win because Farah didn't really run well and he was just lucky that the race tactics suited him". Clear? I will mod this with a hammer. Boardsies have no control over whether they are nominated or not, so if they are put in the spotlight like this they shouldn't be criticised.

Is it against forum etiquette to vote for yourself? :P

Just for clarification- is a vote for AMK also a vote for RK? and is it possible to divide votes? I thought RK was a way better poster than AMK.

He won't win it (its essentially a popularity contest), but I gave my vote to Chivito550, mainly for his excellent series of RunningReview athlete interviews, but also for his championing of all things T&F, (and his general anti-back-slappery attitude ;)).

Close second is ecoli, who also works hard to keep the A in A/R.

Ecoli gets my vote, some great nuggets of training advice throughout the year (plus he told me how to get the lactic acid out of my legs after my first 1500m of the year at the Graded Meets!). :pac:

It's times like this my 10 pseudo accounts really pay off. Also every time you vote for TRR a cute baby gets a cuter puppy!

TRR gets my vote. He has made me laugh the most during the year and his log is very honest.

As a Bros Pearse runner, I have to acknowledge that there might be a touch of Stockholm syndrome involved in this :)

Personally I'm voiting* for drquirky. He has had a Walter White style fall from grace from a nice helpful poster into the boards.ie antichrist.

*I won't actually vote for him. I'll vote for myself

I think he was on parole after his assault on the poor weather folk now that he has been fully released he has returned to himself :P

In my defence- I will say I'm much much nicer off the internet than on it. No idea why but the 'net makes me a grumpy bastard

Has to be ecoli. Without him forum would be procession of logs. Gives sound advise too. Just as well he gets paid for being mod. ;-)

We're all experienced beer milers here. I propose we scrap the poll and settle this Josh Harris style! :)

After last year I would not be confident until I did a Jack Daniels 18 week plan (The Tennessee coach not the Detroit one :D)
