    Ultrapercy's - My Back Pages

Krusty Clown - Send in the Clowns - BAC 10K Challenge

    The Wolf - Chasing Deer

    Blockic - Moving forward faster

career_move - Ain't nothing gonna break my stride

Marthastew - Running with the birds or for the birds?

Some you may follow and some you may not. Links above for some late night reading :D

Mod: reminder - The poll threads will be open for comments BUT I will be deleting any comments that talk down nominated posters or their performances/logs/photos. It is okay to say "I think Jessica Ennis should win the award because her victory was so convincing and she performed so well even in her weaker events". It is not okay to say, "I think Ennis should win because Farah didn't really run well and he was just lucky that the race tactics suited him". Clear? I will mod this with a hammer. Boardsies have no control over whether they are nominated or not, so if they are put in the spotlight like this they shouldn't be criticised.

all good ones in there but hard to see beyond KC for me, even if the post rate is slowing down smile.png. We might have to change this category to 'best non-clown training log'

Aside from the frequency, I think the overall calibre of posting on that training log has hit rock-bottom. For me, it's a tough-call between Ultrapercy's training log (as it's great to follow the progress of someone who is several rungs above you on the performance ladder), and Marthastew's log (which is the internet equivalent of puppies, kittens and hugs).

I voted for ultrapercy, if he can even make marathon training interesting to someone like me then he's doing something right!

I don't think my log should be there... I find parts "did I write that" embarrassing.

I voted for KC as I really enjoy reading it. I would buy his book.

Tough call between all of those choices, I really enjoy both Krusty's and Ultrapercy's for the reason quoted above; even though they're worlds apart from me I can still really enjoy them.
I might just have to vote for blocky as I'm pretty sure on the boards night out I asked him could Mr S and I adopt him (even though I'm very busy with my own 3 sons, not to mention Meno;))
However not many posters on here can boast the fact they've won a race against Ruby Walsh (even if it was on a horse;)).
I've yet to meet the wolf but I've really enjoyed the enthusiasm on his log.

I think I'll go hug some kittens and puppies and then decide:)

Big fan of all these logs- I've voted for KC for the last few years but I think this year I'm voting for Blocky- the progression is excellent, it has the drama of the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat (lol) just a good read all around and instructive for a runner looking to progress quickly!
