Ssd question

    Installing a new ssd , can I unplug the old HDD install the new ssd install windows etc , plug in old hdd ,, boot from ssd and access files from HHd for transfer then format Hdd to remove OS and use for storage .

    Hope that makes sence .

    There are only two problems you might encounter, it might try to boot from the HDD if they are both connected, so make sure that the SSD is attatched to the connection with the lower number. And you might not be able to access some files due to permission on them being restricted, if that happens there will be info online for your OS on how to set the files to accessile by anyone.
