Wiring for 5 single coil pups separately

Hello all. I was hoping some here might be able to help. I am looking to rewire my Ibanez and swap out the pickups for something more powerful. The current set up is HSH (INF's) with a 5way switch. I am thinking of swapping the current setup for 5 single coils (if the Humbucker slots will take two single coils.) 3 vintage pups in bridge - middle - neck and then 2 high gain pickups in bridge and neck.
I would like to be able to run each of these separately. To get the best of both worlds, old and new. Does anyone here know if there is an easy way of doing this without drilling the body for a second switch. I've looked at a few different switches but all seem to run two pups when in positions 2 and 4. I thought a nice easy solution would be a 5 way switch with one live pickup per position.

EASIEST way to do it (electrically) is a bank of 5 on/off toggles. then you can switch them in and out as you please.

next most INTERESTING way would be to make the toggles double throw switches so that centre is off, up us on, and down is on with phase reversed.

minimum drilling would be a 5 way rotary with a big chicken head switch like BB King has on Lucielle....

    way down the bottom here......

Hi, thanks for that. I saw the 5 on/off version online. It really does the trick, I'd just be slow to put it in a guitar without a pickguard. That rotary switch looks ideal. I will see if i can get it to fit into the slot for the existing switch without it looking like it's had its teeth knocked out. I was thinking of using push/pull switches on the pots to allow me run pairs simultaneously - to see what happens :) I think your rotary switch might be the best option though if I can get it to fit. Many thanks. I'll let you know how I get on.

Maybe its a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway, why not just have a 2nd quitar?

Thanks wild turkey, that link is exactly what I was looking for actually.
The reason for even looking at this project is because I have an ibanez with a lovely neck. I love the feel of it. But the pickups are fairly weak. One half of me wants to load this lovely guitar up with vintage sounding blues pups, the other half wants something powerful enough for shred. So I'm thinking, do both. It'll work out cheaper than two guitars loaded with decent pickups and take up less space!

Makes sense I guess. A long time a go I put a pair of hot rails into the bridge and neck of a 3 single coil charvel. There was considerable mismatch between the output level between them than the remaining single coil. The inbetween positions sounded odd, too thin. Maybe it wasn't done right by the shop I had do it.

    Your very welcome!
If I could remember all the guitars that I loved a certain part of & hated another part of, it would be a very long list. Getting a guitar that you love the feel of is the hard bit , everything else can be changed to taste
