Got a new VDSL router this week, apparently Vodafone support aren't forthcoming with the settings required to connect it directly, did a bit of playing around and got it working, here are the settings I used:

    Username: vodafone@vodafone.ie
    Password: broadband
    VLAN ID Tag: 10

I hope that saves some people messing around trying to get it working.

    What router did you buy?

Have Vodafone vdsl myself and would like to pick up a new modem that would help me monitor the traffic through my connection on an ip / device basis.

Dont need a new router for that.....loads of free software - MRTG etc.

Don't think there is any SNMP accessible to the user on the VF modem. Neither can you install any software on it so you're restricted in what you can monitor on the LAN ports or wi-fi.

You can use PRTG as well. Up to 10 sensors is free and You can run on windows.
