PW Awards 2103 Nominations Thread

Well seeing as no-one has started this yet and there is only 24 days until the end of the year, I thought I might as well do it! As per usual, this is the thread to nominate any boardsie who you think suits the award. Nominations close next Saturday the 14th at midday. There will be a maximum of 5 boardsies per award who make it through to the final, the thread of which will be up no later than Sunday the 15th at 9pm. So without further ado let me present to you the current awards!


The CM Punk, Best in the World, Award - for best poster
The Santino Marella Award - for funniest poster
The Vince McMahon Award - for mod of the year
The HHH Award - the member you'd most like to see become a mod
The William Regal Award - Most helpful/quick to give advice poster
The Zack Ryder Award - The poster who practically lives on the internet/forum
The Dave Meltzer Award - for most informative poster regarding news/stories
The Shawn Michaels Award - for the poster we'd love to see back
The Ric Flair Award - For rant of the year
The Antonio Cesaro Award - for best newcomer

If anyone has any suggestions for awards, please type them here! If the boardsies deem them good and appropriate, they will be added to the list of awards! So get voting!

Also, for the Antonio Cesaro award only people who have started posting on this forum in the last 12 months or have had less than 10 posts on the board previously to that (because it wouldn't be far on people who may have dropped in once or twice but have now become massive posters on the forum to not have a chance of winning this)

-Bounty Hunter, Runs threads brilliantly as a mod but posts in other threads as a regular dude.


The William Regal Award - Most helpful/quick to give advice poster
-- Jaykhunter, one of the reasons I became a regular poster here. Always helpful with an issues.

The Zack Ryder Award - The poster who practically lives on the internet/forum
- beakerjoe. I only know this because I'm always on and see his little green light lit up!

The Dave Meltzer Award - for most informative poster regarding news/stories
-rovert. Even though his love of all things Dave Meltzer and Becky Lynch are a bit OTT.

The Ric Flair Award - For rant of the year
- gnfnrhead for his rant on what constitutes a jobber.
- CSF for his consistent bashing of Ryback and the Wyatts.

The Antonio Cesaro Award - for best newcomer
- beakerjoe- a super addition to the boards and my opponent in ATH quarterfinal
- mrkiscool- not afraid to start new topics and always contributes to others.

- Shagnastii's tag team tournament, it was awesome. Gave me the idea for the Stables one.

Sorry Hashtag_HEEL, you won it last year which means your time was last year! AFAIK there are a few newbies on here, I am one this year anyway, as is beakerjoe. I know there are one or two others but not quite sure who haha

There are several a lot of my old favourites are posting a bit less though such as MNG for example but I still always find myself agreeing with DM-ICE whenever he posts so ill go with that fellah, also nominate Charisteas and Teamshadowclan for the crack along with Jayhunter

think I should prob abstain here (so ill vote Bombidol) unless I make a father ted they all have lovely bottoms joke

will abstain from the HHH award to as well us mods decide that if needs be so perhaps not appropriate

Gnfrhead - I don't always agree with him, actually I probably never agree with him, but he speaks his mind and usually argues his points well even if I see them as wrong and I enjoy reading them

Omacheral - Seems to be always doing good work since Ive been here like Tag team/pick your poison threads

Bountyhunter - Im only new and this guy is the Mod I interact with mostly.
