A 780ti build will not be over 2000 ,I built one got 1800 delivered and that was with 780ti superclocked 2 tb HDD, 250g SSD I7 4770 and Asus pro motherboard? So all quality components leaving 200 for monitor.

Firstly Where are you shopping ? And as suggested you interested in higher resolution monitor and set up.

I was looking at a PC store in the UK. To be honest I haven't a clue what SLI or Crossfire is, I have been always a console player and I'm just now looking to make the leap to PC. I'm really just looking for recommendations as PC gaming wouldn't be my forte and in need of help. What did you get for 1800 PC SterlingArcher? I'd be interested in finding out. I'm not looking to get a higher resolution monitor yet, maybe in a year or two but just looking to future proof myself at the moment, sorry with the late reply, been busy with work!

Ah no bother man, figured you might be just stepping into pc gaming. Crossfire/sli just means 2 graphics cards running in the one pc. Crossfire being AMD cards.... Sli being nvidia...

    But never mind that stuff.

I done all the parts for the 1800 build at hardwareversand.de ,a German company that ships to Ireland for 20 euro and builds it for you for 5. You can also try overclockers.uk better customer service than the German one.

There is also a guy from boards "bloodbath" who builds PC's for people. if you wish to use him he can pick the parts and build it for
    you.

You don't need to spend 1800 on a pc to make it future proof. 1200 will get you a kick ass rig. 1400 a beast. 1800 is more for enthusiasts who have been at PCs most of their virgin lives :D jk...

BeerFear, why did you edit the comment? I can see the original comment through my email and I am wondering is there a reason as to why you changed it. :)
