Windows 7 Licence

purchased a licence from PcFritz had to activate it on the phone about
one month ago with Microsoft . I am now getting a black home screen with
a message that this is not a valid copy of windows, anyone have any problems
with these Licence,s ? .

Not so far. Same supplier.

After the install I thought it odd that it didn't even ask for a product key, but after a month of working fine, Windows did the "genuine copy/verify" thingy and we went though the process on the internet (no phone call) and the reminders stopped.

No problem since.

It could be a false positive. The only way to find out is to ring the information number on the nag screen (its freephone afaik) and support should tell you if the key is still valid. If the key was generated by a MSDN account which was used to illegally generate license keys for selling then the key could well be blacklisted. Moved from Comp & Tech to the Windows forum
