Citroen berlingo rough idle when started

    Have a citroen berlingo 2008 1.6hdi. When i start it now it idles rough until it warms up. Could it be a glow plug or egr or injector?? Also have a bit of a bad smell in the van when i turn on the heater to hot. Any ideas?

    Have you had a diagnostic scan carried out??

    Post the county your in and someone here might help you

    What kind of bad smell? Wet dog smell could be air filter, but exhaust smell could be injector seals.

    Like curry spilled on carpet and cleaned up, then the after smell thats left. Didnt spill anything though.

    Tbh the rough idle could be any of the above you mentioned,
    As 88manta said get it plugged into see if there are any fault codes logged..?

    With the smell maybe your heater matrix is leaking coolant and causing the smell..?....Check for dampness/moisture in the foot well.
