    hi,
does anyone know if there's such a thing as a satellite switch?
i've two tv's in separate rooms, with just the wall between them. and was wondering is there a switch i can put the double feed through so as to be able to watch sky dish feed in either room? i can use a remote sender to allow us not to have to keep moving the receiver.

    thanks
    Ed

What satellite receiver are you using?

With a Sky box you can use a magic eye connected to RF2 on the Sky box to watch and change channels in another room.

For a non-Sky box you can use a unit like the Triax Trilink to watch and change channels in another room.

ive a sky+ box, the white one that was issued a few years back.
i dont mind watching the same channels in exch room, thats not a problem, its just so the sky channels can be used in both rooms.

The Sky magic eye should do the job - http://www.tvtrade.ie/sky-magic-eye-en.html and a second Sky remote control. Have a look at the setup under the "Video Guides" tab in the link.
