Did anyone hear of a change in the rules of converting a passenger jeep to a crew cab. I have a 04 showgun sport and some one said it could be converted now , but I can't find any info online .

They closed that loophole years ago but even then it was limited to fairly big jeeps. I know two Land cruiser Amazon crewcabs, but to satisfy the requirements they had to cut out theboot floor and lower it by about a foot. Can't be done now as two many people were taking the piss.

You could just convert it to commercial full stop. The rules for this have changed too so best to ring the tax office that will be changing it over for you. They usually insist on rear windows either blacked out or in some cases removed and plated, rear seatbelts removed with holes welded up.
