The reps inspector wants to see the receipts for the clover.
Farm advisor says it's best to send the tags off the bags.
The tags are nowhere to be found, but the receipt is there.
Will we get away with just the receipt or does it specifically state that we need to have the tags off the bags?

i would have thought receipts would suffice, they are proof of purchase afterall would the supplier have a inventory showing what tags correspond to what receipts

With the receipts, do you have a record of what exactly you purchased (or is it just a money amount), could you get labels from the supplier that way? I'd be inclined to try to get the labels as well as having the receipt if I could, to be sure.

The receipt gives an exact description eg 20kg of white clover

Would have thought that would be sufficient to be honest.

At least you are lucky it says that and not just Grazing Mix Grass seed.

To be honest, the above question is not for me. I have the tags for my own clover and am prepared to loan them. but he would rather not take them if he didn't need them.

we had to show the actual tag off the bag as it proved you purchased it i think there is batch numbers on them that he recorded, it would be too easy to book a bag down to yourself in the merchant and then return it the next month and get it off your account, but dont show the inspector the credit
