My understanding was that Martin Moore wasn't out of contract persay, but that he had some sort of development contract which runs till 2015. Could be wrong.

as far as I know, he signed a one year development contract last year.

open to be corrected though.

Most lads coming out of the academy sign a similar contract.

He was only in 2nd year academy though, and so still technically had a year to go in the academy, don't know if that makes a difference

I might be wrong but I think Diack recently signed a new Ulster contract but will check it out.

It's a scary amount of players alright but it's probably the same every year as most contracts are only two years long.
