new phone...sound faults

    just wondering ...i have a almost new sony experia E and it's just developed 2 problems:)

    speakerphone has stopped working on calls...the speaker works ok on music playback but nothing happens when i hit speaker button on a call

    also headphone jack has stopped working ...nothing happens when i plug in headphones


    i'm assuming this is a hardware issue and phone will have to go back??:)
