Putting the le creuset in the freezer?

    I've made a large portion of casserole to be used on Sunday - its in my largest Le creuset casserole - can I put it in the freezer in the le creuset? I'll be defrosting it before warming up in the oven.

    Yes it it's stoneware, not recommended if it's cast iron. Reheat from cold (don't preheat oven) to prevent the dish cracking/breaking due to temperature shock, although that shouldn't be an issue assuming you defrost in the fridge anyway. That's from memory of what I learned in college, not from experience by the way :)
    Edit: you should seal it with cling film as well as the lid
