    following the most recent feedback thread we the mod team have taken the suggestions and ideas away and discussed them at length among ourselves, with the cmods and admins and have decided that an overhaul of the sub forums is due. we are going to streamline the forum by merging some of the subforums and making a few changes, along with a continued clean up of outdated stickies.
    the proposed changes will be;

    leave airsoft adverts alone, it works!

    move the events subforum to the main page. hopefully this will help increase awareness of events being ran in the community.

    merge the sites and retailers subforums, rename it to to "commercial- airsoft sites and retailers"

    merge the questions, reveiws and technical questions sub forums into a new subforum to be renamed "gear talk". we will be introducing a tag system like in airsoft adverts for new threads where you can tag your thread "reveiw", "general question" or "technical question", this will hopefully help users later on when trying to search for specific threads or information.

    we have also changed the rules for sites and retailers
    so if a "wanted" thread is posted in adverts or a "where can i get a x item" in the questions forum, a retailer may say yes i have them and then include a link to their thread in the commercial forum. this is only allowed for fully paid up retailers who have an open thread in the commercial forum.
    similarly if a sites related question was raised such as "im looking for a site in the dublin area that can supply all the gear required for a xmas party/stag do/ birthday party" a site could direct them to their thread by posting a link on thread.

    all comments and feedback please post them here.
