    Change the hard-drive to this

    What games does she play?

You could go with an fx-6300, slightly cheaper than the i3 and the boards for it are cheaper aswell. Would be a saving of roughly €25.

The i3 will perform better on single/double threaded applications and the fx-6300 will perform better in multi threaded applications. So would depend on what games your playong

    Thanks Guys

Games she is liking so far,

    SWTOR (as I playing it)
Walking Dead and similar horror type games(no interest myself)
    Batman
The older and New Dragon age,( she wants to play the older ones before the new one Comes out)
    starcraft 2
Fallout New Vegas(and she wants to play Fallout 3) and Wants to play Halflife 2...

Pretty Much games I have played and raved about and as she is now getting the bug, but she likes similar games to me so far(
if she goes down the route of kung Fu panda`s its getting sold lol) As Im going towards BF4 on my rig, she has no interest in War FPS
    kinda things, but likes FPS

the Fx6300 Looks the route to go alright,
Any ideas on graphics cards and power supplies?

The FX6300, any decent AM3 60 euro motherboard, a 500w corsair PSU, 270x GPU and 4-8GB of ram (ideally 8), hyper212 evo CPU cooler (only if you want to overclock later) and your good to go. The case and HDD you have there are fine.

    Thanks Jaafa...

am going with the Fx6300 for Sure and I will possibly ask on the Motherboard to be sure,
    PSU-perfect
    GPU- sticking with the 270
    RAM-any Particular mhz ,,. possibly going for 1600mhz ddr3 (8gig for sure)

Not overclocking so, Put might add the evo just in case

    ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0, AM3+, ATX

    ASUS M5A78L/USB3, Sockel AM3+, ATX
    66 euro

Go with the ASRock, should be fine.

Just something to keep in mind, the i3 you had in the original build will match the 6300 in most current games, even beat it in some. The 6300 will only pull away in multi threaded games, which there probably will be more of with the new consoles.
The i3 is also quite a bit more power efficent.
The reason I mention this is just incase you want the machine to have an upgrade path you could go with the i3 and then when it starts to get a little long in the tooth could throw an i5/i7 into the same build and board.
With the amd build your only current option would be an fx-8xxx series cpu for an upgrade, which costs about the same as an i5, but a decent i5 should be better in most games than it.

If you dont think you'd be looking to do anything like that id stick to the 6300.

So to throw that spanner in the works so late:)

Anyway, ive a much better idea, tell her shes not getting the new pc now and your using the money to buy a GTX 780ti for your rig, power that dell of yours:)

Thanks EoinHef, yeh that was my original Idea, get the I3 and then upgrade it later if it was needed,

Will keep that in mind indeed,, thanks

Dont tempt me with the GTX 780 lol... lets just say the dicussions are ongoing and She had some on my gaming time over the weekend
to see if she wants to play, so am holding off for a few Weeks and she will be playing some more, then make a decision,, If its yes, well then thats, that, if no, Am going for a r9 290 in the new year,,, when they fix the Fans and noise :-)
