2013 Kabaddi World Cup

    The 4th Kabaddi World cup is on at the moment, it's being broadcast live on PTC Punjabi in the mornings and at night.

    No Irish involvement unfortunately but the Scots are there (though they lost their first match to Sierra Leone) so I think I'll support them.

    It's good fun to watch, NZ were up against Kenya in the women's tournament this morning and it was great. There was loads of MMA/Judo style takedowns and a couple of times the powerful Maori ladies just ran over their petite Kenyan counterparts!

    I use to enjoy watching it on C4, sadly C4 have moved away from unique sports such as Kabaddi and Sumo. One of the reasons the channel is so poor these days.
