How much should I expect to pay for a decent secondhand front loader?

1500 or so plus fitting for a Tanco 978.

May need some work at that money.

    Hope that helps.

What's it costing to get a loader fitted these days? 400?

JDI are you hoping to handle bales with it?

€1500 fitted a tanco 868. Great yoke worth it!

Yes, and other bits and pieces like cleaning out shed etc. Thought about rear fork lift but if I'm going to spend a few bob may as well go the whole hog. At €2k out less I think it's worth it?

At 2k or less you will wonder what you ever did before you bought it. A neighbour put a tanco 868 on and changed the valve chest to a joystick and wouldn't be without it now.

Might be worth taking a look at getting the soft ride kit when you're at it. The 885/895 is a tad light and takes a bit of a bouncing with a loader. Just keep a bit of weight on the back if your're handling bales

    Hi

I am looking for a loader for my 1995 Deutz 457. I want a loader that is easily put on and taking off. I am based in Tipperary. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure to put in a joystick as opposed to a chest valve, if you pick up one with a chest valve kit discount it and buy a joystick should only cost 3-400 at most extra fitted.
