Had Roman Flight up as one to follow a couple of weeks ago, runs tomorrow in the 2.40 Wincanton. I think he's very well handicapped(upwards of 8lbs in hand) and his first run for new yard was promising. Finished behind Ranjaan(a Stone below his highest mark) and the unexposed Fourth Estate who surely has more to come. Previously finished 6 lengths behind Sea Lord who is up 17lbs since.

Not too sure about the jockey, but he gave him a nice ride last time out.
I said he needed either pace or a step up to suit, and RP reckon Decoy will provide this.

BP 11/4 at the moment. Decent wedge on.

Mullins mare beat it by 10 lengths giving it weight before cant see it turning the form, rest of them are absolute rags not worth the price of a bet.

Clonmel 1.45 Oscar Zulu 11/1.Was running a very decent race at Killarney[ground to quick] when was in involved in a pile up 2 out.He was not to busy 25/1 but seems to have ability.1.5 M R Very Stylish. His form is shocking but has dropped to a mark where he seems to be able to cope 9/2.

Small word for The Conker Club in the third. Won a course maiden here and this looks a very ordinary event. 6/1 isnt to bad.
In the 3rd race at Wincanton I think the handicappers have given Nicholls horse Lumpys Gold and outstanding chance of making a succesful hc debut in what looks a very ordinary event on paper. Albeit the bookies think the same. 13/8 is a bit shorter than i was looking for, was hoping for some 2/1. Anyway i decided to go in at 13/8.

I have noticed recently well backed horses plummetting in price only for the jockey to get caught ahem on the rail and fade, is this a tactic even when the money is down or jockey mistake or horse not going along with the plot out of moral outrage?:D what do ye think?

Thats gas was just coming on here to post that I had just been talking to the owner of Kick Start who runs in the same race and he said he is in good nick and they are confident!!

What looked like an incredibly weak race could be the race of the week :D

Ha i was just talking to 1 of the lads who was involved in the syndicate last night and they fancy him to run a decent race. I havent even backed it myself yet tbh. All the money is for Oscar Zulu.
Anyway looks a trappy enough race so i wont be going mad.

Yeah I think I'll just have enough on Kick Start that would retrieve the losses from the last day when he was very unlucky.

The winner of that bumper there in Market Rasen looked very very good.
Definitely 1 for the notebook. Well backed and beat a decent sort in Degooch.
    Could be anything.

Just watched this again. Completely taken by it. I would suggest people have a look. Anyone any opinions on it? Looks very smart.
It is also worth noting there was a serious wind against them in the straight today in Market Rasen so for him to do that first time out in bad conditions makes it even better. Mccoy looked absolutely chuffed after the race to smiling like mad.
Perhaps i am mad(and it is definitely early days) but i think he could be very good.

Went out for few quite pints got a text that Fair Dreamer was very fancied.Had 200 on at 2/1 it won at 11/4 Ladbrokes only pay on price wrote not on returned price.I saw lads losing their bollocks on cartoons.Recent reports that 45.4 billion is taken from slot machines per year in UK there is a serious problem. This was my first venture into a bookies for a sustained period in a long time, worrying is not the word.

I think they guarantee prices but only show prices. Not if you take an early price.. Or perhaps they have changed their policy again. Was it a show price?

FOBT's as they are known(fixed odds betting terminals) are the scurge of betting shops in the uk. Every town center has bookie shops in all prime located buildings full of degenerates punting their lives away. It's actually a major problem over there. Thank god they don't have them here, it's grim enough in bookie shops here without them machines in them.
