Can you have diverticulitis without the stomach being bloated? Im not looking for medical advice but I just know people here might be able to answer this.
This person has many of the symptoms including the constant diarrhea you get with it but no bloating.

Diverticuli will only be diagnosed by a colonoscopy. You can have diverticuli without any symptoms - many people over a certain age will have them - diverticulitis disease is what happens if there's infection etc. If this person is worried about symptoms seeing a gp is must they will then decide if a referral for a colonoscopy/further investigationis warranted based on their initial examination.

The doctor was nearly sure it is diverticulitis. He gave her two different antibiotics, one for 2 weeks and another for 3 weeks and when that's done he's going to do a colonoscopy.

Diverticular disease is the presence of small pouches. Diverticulitis is when those pouches are inflamed. Talk to your doc about getting a colonoscopy done.
