Observation turning left/right

Just want to get the routine exactly right here as at the moment I'm not conscious of how I do it and getting ready for driving test.

When making a left turn, and have positioned myself correctly, do I then do the full 360 degree check, from right to left?
Then indicate left, and then is it enough to just do a quicker look right and left?
Then look into turn as I'm turning?

Just not sure on what steps to take and in what order.

If you're coming up to the corner check the mirror of whatever direction you're turning before you even indicate, indicate correctly, check mirror again and turn. I normally check my blindspot for cyclists too if I'm turning left.

Just remember; Mirror, signal, mirror, manouvere.

Pog it; both ways you suggested will cause to fail. There is a happy middle ground.
A key point would be 'Check right, Look Left'.
Another key point would be get a pretest lesson with an ADI.

I only suggested one way though?

I'm doing mirror, signal, mirror, manoeuvre at the moment. I can't see how I would fail doing the above procedure as it is demonstrating a lot of observation.

Sorry, I read it as two sepperate alternatives. It reads like marks for lack of progress. But you'd never know for sure without someone looking at the timing.
