Lenovo G505

Looking for some advice as my laptop is fried and im in need of a replacement.
Unfortunately I dont have the cash to pay up front so have to resort to littlewoods.

I know theres a lot better value out there but I dont have cash or a credit card.

What do yethink of these two lenovo's? I need the machine for basic word processing and browsing etc.

Ive read reviews online and the only thing putting me off is a mention that the way the memory is configered as mentioned here

However the model reviewed is 4GB unlike the 6GB and 8GB models on littlewoods so Im wondering will they suffer the same issues?

Don't buy it from Littlewoods as they charge ridiculous interest. Wait until you have the cash and buy it online or get a loan with a reasonable interest rate. You'll save money and end up with a better laptop.

Could anybody shed some light on wether there is any draw backs to this particular laptop please?

The AMD A4 is too slow. The A8 is ok an i3 would be slightly faster.

I've looked at this in the shops and I like the design of the keyboard and placement of the ports.

Whats the issues with the ram config?
