So got my Xmas party around the corner, I'm the only guy who'll be at it, so I'd like to know if my purposed outfit works together...

    Mustard T-Shirt
    Burgundy Chinos
    Navy Cardigan

    With Cons

Cheers in advance for your advice

I kinda prefer the casual look, for a number of reason(the main one being it allows me to show off my newer more trimmer look:p)

The colour combo was a main concern, I'm not particularly good with colour schemes

Ah congrats on the new, trimmer look! Outfit sounds good to me anyway

Sounds good but very casual. Is it in a pub/ office/ hotel/ restaurant?
I think it is fine for pub but too casual for hotel/ restaurant.
You could dress it up by wearing blazer instead of cardi and shoes instead if cons.

Personally I'm not a fan of the mustard / burgundy colour mix; its a bit "Topman" for me, but if that's the look you are going for, then fair enough.

For me, it would be WAY to casual for a party, unless the party was expressly said to be "casual". That's something you'd wear going down to get the paper on a Saturday morning! You could smarten it up slightly by getting a fitted dark denim shirt, worn with dark shoes or smart boots instead of cons. Ditch the cardi. Keep that for lazy Sundays.

If you're worried about the cold, you could get a light grey sweater / jumper (wool, round neck) and wear a white shirt under it. Either keep the collars inside or outside. And if you have a navy overcoat / jacket, that would go well enough with that. Wear the mustard t-shirt as your third layer! :-)

Well could be a dark blue or navy... doesn't have to be denim. Something like this:

But sure as you said its only a small gathering!
