I think I've seen it for around €36 or €37. It's my favourite gin but unfortunately it takes a birthday or christmas present for me to actually get a bottle of it.

Available at the drinkstore.ie for €38.99 so not much under €40

Hendricks is expensive because of the well marketed cucumber aspect. If you like cucumber in your gin just buy a standard brand and add it to that.

I started drinking it before the heavy marketing push and enjoy it more for the heavier influence of floral flavours in its botanics. I don't tend to drink it with cucumber.

In a similar vein, I really enjoy Dingle gin because it is distilled with fucsia flowers seemingly in a similar way that Hendricks use rose petals.

    Hipster!!

Nah, only messin, I'm sure there's plenty of gin aficionados out there who enjoy Hendricks but the amount of people who suddenly have become gin experts and refuse to drink Hendricks without cucumber is ridiculous.

 Next thing you'll be saying that the lime in Corona is just a nonsensical marketing gimmick too.
