Is there any clinic that you can just ring up an make an appointment? 24 hour preferably.

    Thanks

Think I might have testicular cancer :-(
    Have to get an ultrasound!

Can anyone here thats had this cancer describe how it impacted them? Ie loss of energy? Several weeks off work etc. any information is helpful

I'm single so I don't really have anyone to talk about this with

    People here can't give diagnoses.
I also would recommend that that you try and not diagnosing yourself tonight because it will just worry you.
I had a problem a few months ago and it was an embarrassing problem and when I googled it I thought I had cancer but I went to the Doctor and it was only something minor that required a little procedure.
Try and go to the Doctor tonight if you really want or in the Morning by just making an appointment at your local GP's.

I was at the doctor last night. Being sent for an ultrasound on Monday.
I'm just trying to get my head right and be positive even if the news is bad.

I just want to get an idea of how much it changes your life.

    Hi OP

unfortunately per site rules we cannot allow threads seeking medical / professional advice. There are just too many variables and worst case someone with the best of intentions could still give you misleading advice.

Please go get the ultrasound but prepare a list of questions to bring with you, suggest you write them down as on the day your worry may cause you to forget to ask specifics.

In the meantime if you need to talk to someone in regards to cancer there is a freephone line open Monday to Friday in the Irish Cancer Society. But again until you have your diagnosis this really could be anything and not necessarily cancer.

    Sorry but thread closed.
