VAG VW FRONT SUSPENSION BUSH TOOL VW POLO SEAT CORDOBA SKODA FABIA BUSH REMOVAL

    ^^^^^^^^^
    Hi,
Does anyone know where I could get one of these in a hurry.
I rang a few places but they are looking for crazy prices...
My friends daughters NCT next wednesday so urgently need to buy one or borrow one :)

Any kind souls out there with some Xmas spirit..

I ordered one on ebay but I don't think it will arrive on time, possibly the worst seller i have ever come across after 15 years shopping online, typical when you need something in a hurry.

    Any help advice greatly appreciated.
    Sham.

ps hope this is allowed in here, I don't usually post in this section.

    I haven't a clue about cars mate.
It's my wife's uncle, he's pretty good around cars so I presume he knows what he's doing ;)

    He mentioned wishbones or something.
All I know is he needs that tool.
    Cheers.

just advice him remove that arm, and pop in with new ball joint in one of local garages, i think to replace will cost 10-20 quid. just save hassle and rush before nct.

The bush is in the subframe on those Polos, that is why you need the tool.

You can make your own tool as per this very informative thread in the link below. You may have to register to see the pictures.

Note that VW themselves should now offer the upgraded bush and there are also plenty aftermarket versions to choose from.

Personally, when I went to order the new type bushes for my Skoda last year, I was quoted 130 for supply and fit, so even though every penny counts, you might find it worth paying to get the job done.
