Thanks - not too sure why they are in the entertainment section, E! has moved from 501 fo 147 as well , though apparently its moving to 136 tomorrow ??
    This leaves the 500s decimated...

Apparently some stations have also moved to different packages eg SYFY has gone to the Max pack and gone completely for MMDS customers, while Universal has moved to select.

Unable to find any details on the UPC website

The new Discovery channels have been added to UPC's website under Horizon Max, but so has Challenge (under entertainment) and Sky Livingit (under Sky channels). I wonder are these being added tomorrow too, or is this a mistake?

Doubt if its a mistake - only added in the last few hours

Challenge on 157, Livingit on 158. But some of the new channels aren't clearing for me even though I have the max pack.

Challenge falls into the "about bloody time" category, I don't understand why it's taken till now to add it. Now if only UPC would add Watch.

Had the same problem, turn off the box leave for a minute or 2, lash it back on channels are back up.

Sky Living It working for me now, Discovery Turbo still not working. Can't understand what UPC are doing with the EPG. It makes no sense, Discovery channels now in the 100's, Lifetime at channel 218. Obviously UPC consider the 100's and 200's to be interchangeable now, or maybe UPC have another explanation? I agree with others, I wish they would introduce WATCH.

At long last Challenge! But this EPG is getting worse. Discovery in entertainment, Lifetime in Documentaries and Bloomberg forgotten about in the high 200s miles away from the other news channels.

    At long last Challenge!

+1 Just found it there this evening - old episodes of Pointless, happy days!

And I'll be recoding Bullseye at 1 a.m., everyone loves a bit of Bully

Turbo is a great channel if you like ur motors, but like everything else on these channels the shows are years old and repeat after repeat....if it's nothing to do with Pawning or storage lockers there's very little new on any of these Discovery channels

I'm not impressed about the dropping of Syfy nor how these changes weren't communicated to customers...

Their Twitter PR account (@UPC_IE_PR) tweeted the announcement alongside a photo of two 'celebrites' though can't for the life of me remember who they were, what more do you want?

Were you expecting an e-mail? I didn't get one either.

An announcement on their website.... http://www.upc.ie/about_us/announcements/ (don't bother)

Perhaps by now you'd have expected to see the new channels on their TV listings website.... http://tv-guide.upc.ie/TV/ (don't bother)

    We can but dream.....
