Rates for images to be used in promotional material

    Hi,

I'm looking for some advice on what rates I should quote for my images to be used by a hotel in their promotional material.
I was selling some of my prints at a Christmas market that was organised at the hotel, someone from their sales department passed by and admired what I had on display.
She mentioned getting in touch, that she could be possibly interested in using some images in promotional material, possibly a brochure.
I don't have experience in pricing for single images after a shoot to be used in this manner (I usually do video work and the photography is a by product of having a DSLR).
If anyone could give me any help or insight into what I should charge per image for commercial/promotional use, I would greatly appreciate it.
I'm unsure at this moment how much material and what format/size they could possibly intend to distribute that would incorporate the image or images.
If there is a rule of thumb on increasing rates inline with how much they use the image, or if I should bill them per year of use, again I would love to hear some advice.
It is a 5 star hotel and spa, so I'm sure they wouldn't balk at a price per image that is inline with industry rates, I'm relatively new to this side of the business so I will adjust the fee accordingly...
Thanks for reading and any help you may provide.
