    *Tyson Kidd pinned Justin Gabriel

    Smackdown:

*Smackdown opened with WWE champion Randy Orton cutting a promo on John Cena, promising to win at TLC. He then went out of his way to apologize to The Authority for his comments on Monday. Daniel Bryan came out and said Orton should apologize for being a fake champion who didn't earn his title. They set a match for later.

*WWE Intercontinental champion Big E. Langston pinned Fandango.

*Bad News Barrett is out there, making announcements.

*Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio was set but ADR attacked him and laid him out before the match.

*The Shield did a promo backstage about one of them facing CM Punk, giving the impression they weren't united on who gets to face Punk.

*Ryback & Curtis Axel defeated WWE Tag Team champions Goldust & Cody Rhodes in a non-title match, so apparently that's a match for TLC.

*CM Punk pinned WWE United States champion Dean Ambrose with the GTS in a good, non-title match.

    *Natalya pinned Tamina Snuka.

*Big Show & Rey Mysterio defeated The Real Americans.

*WWE champion Randy Orton defeated Daniel Bryan with the RKO. Bray Wyatt appeared on the Titantron inviting Bryan to join them.

Of all the teams they have, Ryback and Axel are who they decide to have compete for the titles....

CSF will not be a happy man. For godsake, two jabroni's of the highest order in Axel and Ryback. Have either won a match in the last 4 months? Tyson and Gabriel reforming instead of fighting would be cool. Also, the thoughts of Big Show with Rey is just annoying as f**k.

Process of elimination I guess given that the Wyatts and the Shield are tied up. Bryan Alvarez says he heard that WWE have plans on making Tonnes of Funk the lead heel tag team. In stating that Alvarez said he has no faith in them getting that over or WWE sustaining interest/commitment.

I think the Big Show & Rey tag team is the best outcome from the tapings IMO. Get contrast, two over characters, protects Rey from the hazards of singles matches etc. Also another possible sign the original Sin Cara is gone.

I guess Daniel Bryan is a jobber now. :p

Off the top of my head:
    Real Americans
    Prime Time Players
    The Usos
    3 Man Band
    Los Matadores
Truth and Consequences (or whatever name they get)
    Tons of Funk

And I'm sure I'm forgetting more.

Ryback and Axel should be way down the pecking order.
I guess Daniel Bryan is a jobber now. :p

He has won almost every match since his feud with Orton ended :p

I actually don't mind Axel too much.

Just keep him off the mike and he's OK.

Would love to see Team Rhodes v All Americans v Usos v Ryback & Axel in a ladder match at TLC.

Don't have a problem with Ryback or Axel in such a reduced role, just odd they've been chosen when you think of the strong reactions Cesaro and Swagger have been getting lately.

Which could be a match they're saving for Rumble or (less likely) Mania.

If WWE aren't bothered saving a World title unification match for the Rumble or Mania,I highly doubt they're that arsed saving a meaningless tag title feud for it.

You would imagine (and yes I do realise I may be giving the WWE far too much credit) that the timing of this match has been chosen to lead to something bigger for Mania.

I mean you know WWE aren't arsed developing a feud when they just spend Raw showing clips from previous feuds. This match stinks to me of being one to tie up loose ends to pave the way for something else.

Id imagine buy rates for the rumble and WM are always good. Makes sense to up the buy rate of a lower ppv like TLC

Punk shat himself in the Ambrose match

There is a reason why buyrates are always good. If they ceased to deliver and other PPVs ended up being just as good, watch how quick the buyrates would even out.

Del Rio looking agressive and BadNewsBarrett being yawnish.

Zero reaction to the show says it all really despite Michael Cole's incessant BIGGEST MATCH EVER plugs for Orton vs Cena.

Show and Rey as a duo came off as likeable as expected. Punk and Ambrose was good but not go out of your way. Orton-Bryan still aren't able to find the chemistry they should have on paper and their match was less than nothing.

Agreed nothing special. Probably see it all again on RAW anyway.

Nothing of too much interest, the backstage bit with The Shield slightly bickering over who was the 'baddest' in the group was cool though,it's Reigns obviously!

Promo vid for the unification match with lots of old footage was great too.
