I was going to get the parents a voucher towards a weekend break somewhere in Ireland for Christmas. I dont want to tie them to one place. Are there any good chain of hotels that I could get a voucher for so that they could go to any of their hotels?

Depending on your budget bluebook vouchers are great, but for expensive hotels.

Irelandhotels.com have gift vouchers which are valid for 600 hotels & b&bs. Have a look at their website to get an idea.
