    I have been feeding his years calf's on 18% Weanling crunch costing 320 a tonne. I have now weaned all my calf's onto aftergrass . I would now like to place them onto a cheaper ration. I would hope to sell these in Feb/Mar. What I would like to know is what type of ration should I put them on now I have been quoted for booth a 15% and 16% ration .Any assistance much appreciated

    I have my 8 month old AA bull calves on bull finisher ration that I get from the local mill and its 16% protein and I'm well happy with it.

    at the minute all the silage they can eat and 2kg of ration a day/head. will squeeze them when they come out of the shed next March/April. Hope to have them sold by Dec 2014
