The Lighthouse Challenge in the Isle of Man brings cyclists on a loop of the island providing views of all the neighbouring countries. The event starts at the famed Isle of Man TT course before skirting along the coast for the entire sportive. Cycle on the training ground for World Champions and Tour de France winning team members.

The Celtic Series welcomes a new Welsh event for 2014. The Cambrian Coast Sportive held on September 13th starts from Aberdovey and is set entirely within the Snowdonia National Park. Im done Conemara last year, was lovely and sunny (bar the constant rain and lack of sun). Hope to do it again this year.
Ive booked flights for Tro Bro Leon but getting the bike there is 150 sterling on top of flights. Anyone know of any bike hire for the event, or bike shipping from either N.Ireland or Ireland.

Ryanair fly to Nantes, which is €40 roughly to brest on the train. They are only €50 to take the bike on the flight though (thats each way, ie works out around €180).

When I looked up flybe it was 30stg, I didnt read it carefully enough though and they are charging 30 per flight, 2 flights on way over and 3 on way back. (150stg).

Any of you thought about the ferry to Roscov? To void the hassle of bike boxes and taking it apart and putting it back together over the other side.
