Was reading Farming Indo today and there was two articles on milk supplies. Now it looks like we are over quota. but lads supplying are being paid up to 60c/litre. So it looks profitable to supply 28c/l penalty and 30c for producer.

However some of these lads Butterfat id over 6% will that not trigger a higher penalty than 28c/litre as while the quota is based on volume there is a butterfat trigger as well. This production might not be as profitable as seems. Also should you not be allowing the penalty against what may be a lower priced spring componment.
