Davey Richards has been removed from the Final Battle match by ROH management due to his unprofessionalism and unreliability with the company.

Davey pretty much buried the company in an interview and then apparently had to issue an apology to the locker room. It doesnt seem like many bought his apology and cant wait for him to be gone.

If he doesnt get the WWE deal, that's yet another bridge burnt now.

He also burnt a bridge with Japan's Pro Wrestling NOAH recently. By telling them he couldn't make a tour with them due hurting his neck in this WWE tryout match when he landed on it. He then took bookings in America the weekend of the start of the NOAH tour. There's a migitating factor of a long distance flight on a bad neck sucking. But still lying to NOAH about his ability to wrestle was silly.

He did something similar with NJPW, said he was in a car crash and couldnt wrestle, despite still wrestling in the States at the same time.

Basically, if WWE doesnt work out he has very few options in wrestling. He has to be on his last chance with PWG, meaning he'd have to hope TNA are interested. Otherwise, he'd only have the small companies.

If Gabe Sapolsky brought Davey back like he did Low Ki that would be a heck of story.

Davey jumped from EVOLVE to ROH for an extra $50 per booking*. EVOLVE was at first meant to be shoot/MMA style promotion built around Bryan Danielson and Davey Richards. Davey swore allegiance to Gabe only for Richards to do a legger to ROH. The best was Gabe's Twitter promo on Richards calling him out by his real name WESLEY.

Lol this Davey Richards seems like a right character alright. Another Low Ki basically. I don't know what he thinks he's doing or who he thinks he is, but burning your bridges with promotions is not a great idea. Black listed is black listed and this guy must be a right plonker if he thinks he can just depend on getting into WWE. Maybe he thinks he knows something other people don't, or maybe WWE really are high on the guy but he better be careful.

Danielson was suppose to be involved in evolve heavily, but signed the WWE Contract just before it got going. Davey stated in interviews Gabe vision with Evolve was to put ROH out of business. This is one of the reasons why Davey went with ROH, least that's what he said in his Highspots interview.
