Hey just a quick Q in relation to an essay question. I'm confused as to whether the question is looking at 1) how infant brain development influences adolescent risk-taking or 2) Summarize the history of developmental neuroscience starting with infant brain growth?

"Evaluate the contribution of developmental neuroscience to understanding human development, from infant brain growth, to the role of the brain in adolescent risk-taking?"

I'm suspect 2, but it's a 100% assignment so best not to f it up.

First explain how developmental neuroscience sees human development from pre-natal development to adolescence. Then focus on the adolescent brain and address risk taking.

The question allows a lot of scope. Your intro should address this and explain your rationale for the particular view you take.
