I know the Vitz comes with a CVT but how can I spot the diferance ? I presume the biggest one would be different gear sticks.
If so what do they both look like ?
Want to avoid the MMT as it's not got good reviews.

Also on the wiki page it says all CVTs are 4WD. Do they not do a CVT FWD

Thanks for any help in advance

Youll know the cvt because like the torque converter ones it has an old fashioned shifter. MM has a tiptronic style shifter. Newer 05 shape has a 1.0 2wd

Cvt could be a nightmare if it goes wrong.

MMT can be a nightmare aswell with clutch issues, rough gear changes in easy mode and not likeing low gears at slow speeds.

The cars for a 70 year old with disability issues.
The only other options she is interested in is a Jazz/Fit CVT.

Why is there no traditional autos anymore
