Shower issues

hi all Last day or so, when I turn my shower onto hot settings, it has been roasting and then the water stops. When I put it back to cold, no bother same ammont of water as usual. hi all

Last day or so, when I turn my shower onto hot settings, it has been roasting and then the water stops. When I put it back to cold, no bother same ammont of water as usual.

The yoke to adjust the settings from hot, cold etc was making some odd sounds as if it something was stuck in it.

Its an apartment I have lived since 2009, no issues at all previously.
