Replacing Wire Antenna

    Hi All,
I have been given a Bush NE 8050 Micro System which has DAB radio but only a thin wire antenna, which can't even receive FM properly.
How can I replace this with a decent antenna? There are no coax or spade connectors on the rear of the unit.
If possible I would like to use a splitter from my Saorview antenna to receive DAB radio.

    1) DAB in ROI has only limited coverage: Dublin, Cork, Limerick, parts of the northeast & midlands.

    2) DAB really needs a different aerial to Saorview but, you might get a usable signal off the TV aerial if you can find a way to connect to the receiver.

You might find something here in relation to radios with no connection for an external aerial.
