Collecting payment same day as sign-on

I've often wondered this - if you're supposed to sign on the same day you would usually collect that week's payment, do you have to sign before it is available?

No, you don't. Many folks would be signing on in the afternoon and have to collect their payment in the morning. The sign on location could be miles away from where they live.
