Pre Purchase Inspection and Location

    I want to get a pre purchase inspection done on a car I am thinking of buying. The car is a 350z and the problem is that seller is located in the midlands- pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I am in Dublin about a 2 hours drive.

    How to go about getting someone to look over the car who is trained to inspect and also independent in his opinion? I have contacted a Nissan Dealer in a town about 25 mins from the seller, but it looks like they only offer a 'Health Check' as part of a set checklist and may not be totally suitable for an inspection.

    Have checked to AA but they have certain garages where the car can be brought but due to the location of the seller it does not look like there are any garages nearby.

    Any thoughts?

    the AA should have mobile inspection too. ive used this service in the UK and got a 200 point check done on the vehicle at the vehicles home address.

    The likes of motorcheck.ie offer a mechanical inspection service.

    I see that. Is that a mobile service though? I thought it was at a number of set garages across the country.
