Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Women’s Team Ireland selection!!

03-12-2013 10:05am#1From the Irish Roller Derby Association Facebook page:The Irish Roller Derby Association is delighted to announce that we are beginning the process to select the Women’s Team Ireland squad which is a 2 year term which will see the team take part in the Blood and Thunder World Cup to be held in Texas December 2014.
The IRDA is responsible for designing and implementing the criteria and process involved with the creation of Team Ireland. We do this with a view to ensuring that the most fair and transparent process for selection is being applied.
We are hugely excited to begin this process of team selection and we are now opening up applications for skaters to try out for the next Team Ireland.
We will also being looking for support staff for the teams, which will include vital roles such as Sponsorship and Team Manager.
We are proud to have reached this historic moment in Irish Roller Derby history and look forward to celebrating the success of an undoubtedly excellent national team.
Try outs will be held on Sunday February 9th 2014 in the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght, Dublin. Event details will follow later this week.
To apply for Team Ireland please complete the following application and submit before Monday December 30th 2013.

Just to note Passport will not be required for Try outs, but you will be required to have this if you are successfully drafted to Team Ireland.

Maybe they're worried people would laugh loudly in their faces - I know I would be, if I was going to try out... actually that's my main reason for not trying out, haha
