    Could it be done? I forgot my password to my phone. I went through all the options but can't find an option. Samsung GT-S5830i

    You can do it through your devices in your google account.

    Edit sorry forgot to say you must have a google apps / premuim paid account to do this.

    What version of Android do you have ? If you have a later version you may be able to use Google Locate my device which allows you to do it remotely.

    Alternatively, there SHOULD be a 'Forgot passcode?' button on your lockscreen.
