    It was great! The new animation is really showing, looks fantastic. Hugely entertaining episode too, although the whole 'Fluttershy thinks her pet is dead' thing was a bit dark.

    Eyeball monster is eyeballs. FORESHADOWING!

    The ending was insipid. The letters to Celestia wouldn't work anymore, sure, but a group diary? They're upping the little girl appeal, prepare for that diary to be available to buy any day now.

    The diary thing didn't bug me too much. I mean, it wasn't out of character for Twilight to suggest something like that.

    The setting was great though.

    I found Rainbow and Applejack to be a little too competitive this episode. Was anything too bad though.
