    Yea.
You could bring it for repair but a new one would probably be more economical.
In our area the best lad for repairs is Charlie Clarke -Clarke Electrical Rewinds in Meath.

There's very little it could be..
Either its come loose on its mountings which creates a hell of a racket..
    OR
The bearing is shot.. the bearings sometimes just go on their own or sometimes the pump seal fails letting a little water onto the bearing causing it to fail..
Even if the seal is good now, once a little play is introduced into the bearing, the shaft won't run true and the seal will fail not too long afterwards..

Where is your pump located, I've seen lots installed in lofts along with their tank... If there is a total failure the water will spill out and if not bunded it could destroy a couple ton of meal... then the noisy bearing is very expensive.. I've seen this a few times.
