withdrawal limit

OK might sound like a silly question but ive a daily limit of €700 on my BOI card. Is that just for withdrawal or if i have already withdrawn 700 can I use my visa debit card in a shop on top of that??

Its normally specific just to money taken from an ATM machine.

Yes you can, the ATM withdrawal limit is not connected to point of sale transactions.

And when do you expect customers will be required to just go ahead and open up their own individual branches? So they can do all the work and the banks can focus exclusively on the real business of collecting fees and charges?

If you want to increase the limit to 1,300 euro per day on your card, this can be done by sending an 'Ask a question' through Banking 365 Online or alternatively by calling BOI Direct on 0818365365 or 0035314044000 and a colleague will happily amend it for you.
